Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat is conveniently located in central Iowa, about an hour’s drive from Iowa City, Dubuque, Cedar Rapids or the Quad Cities. U.S. Interstate 80 makes The Prairie easily accessible to visitors from throughout the Midwest.

For those who may be coming from a distance, airport pickup can be arranged at either the Cedar Rapids Airport or Moline International Airport.

From Interstate 80 from East or West:

• PlainView/Walcott exit (#284) north approx 9 miles to Dixon
• In Dixon, left on Y4E
• Continue beyond Big Rock 2 ½ miles north
• Right on 257th Street (look for a small black Prairie Retreat sign on the corner)
• Continue approx. 2 miles to #2664

• At Wheatland go south on Y4E (toward Big Rock)
• Go 1 ½ miles to 257th Street
• Left on 257th Street (look for a small black Prairie Retreat sign on the corner)
