Donations and Gifts
Donations and gifts give immediate support to Sisters working in a variety of ministries, and care to our elderly, retired sisters. You may designate your gift to a specific project or to “Whatever is the greatest need.” Gifts may be in one of several forms:

Cash: contributions of cash make a quick and simple gift. Gifts of every size are appreciated and help CHM realize its mission.
Securities: Contributions of long-term, appreciated stock, bonds, or mutual funds have added tax benefits to the donor, including a charitable deduction and no capital gains tax.
In-Kind: Contribute a personal collection or gift that is related to our religious, educational and charitable works and receive a charitable deduction based on fair market value of the gift.

Pledges
A pledge is a commitment to contribute a specific amount of money over a period of time. Pledging offers the flexibility and opportunity to make a larger gift to the Sisters of Humility than would be possible from an annual budget.

Memorial and Celebration Giving
Celebrate a birthday or an anniversary. Share the spirit of the holidays. Honor the life of a friend or relative who has entered into Eternal Life.

A Memorial or Celebration gift to the Sisters of Humility provides an opportunity to remember a life that has passed or celebrate a special occasion. Your gift is fully tax-deductible. We will send you an acknowledgement and a tax receipt. We’ll send a beautiful Memorial or Celebration card to the honoree or family of the deceased, notifying them of your contribution.

You and those you honor will be remembered in a celebration mass in Magnificat Chapel at the Humility of Mary Center and in the daily prayers of our sisters. In turn, your memorial or celebration contribution supports the continuing ministries of the Sisters of Humility.
