Free Online: Students Telling Their Story of Covid-19: Grieving Their Losses
COVID-19 has touched everyone. One area of great concern is how it has affected students. Parents and teachers and pundits have shared their stories of home schooling, contamination scares, child care dilemmas and the gap left by canceled concerts and sporting events. They have had the public's ear since March, 2020, via public media. What we haven't heard in such a public manner is the story of students. Therefore, we are inviting four students to share, via ZOOM, their stories of losses, challenges, and surprises during this pandemic. Only students will be speaking; they may find this time of sharing to be healing or instructive. They may learn that they are not alone in their grief and anger. The session will moderated by an old teacher who knows when to shut up.
This is a CHM Community Outreach Event with no fee. Please register at link above and you will receive a Zoom link to attend.
