Position: Residential Life Coordinator

For the Humility of Mary Center, a place of a variety of functions and activities:

The responsibilities of this position will be to establish collaborative relationships for delivery of services; arrange for hospitality and housing at the Center; support personal and mental health of the sisters; facilitate spiritual and religious experiences; assures that appropriate celebrations are available; advises and assists in transitions in living arrangements and fulfills other duties as assigned.


  1. Has or will acquire knowledge of CHM charism, mission, vision and history
  2. Believes in the values, principles and philosophy which are integral to the CHM life.
  3. Has knowledge of Scripture, Catholicism and a strong spiritual commitment
  4. Has good physical and mental health and is able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  5. Has organizational skills, experience with group facilitation and the ability to work with diverse persons
  6. Has the ability to be flexible and operate in a stressful situation  
  7. Is self-directed and able to meet deadlines
  8. Demonstrates a welcoming spirit, facilitates all aspects of hospitality and has a sense of humor 
  9. Possesses good written and oral communication skills
  10. Has an understanding of the aged and of aging as a normal process
  11. Possesses empathy and compassion for aging and infirm persons
  12. Has completed some classes/education in geriatrics, aging process and needs of elderly (Preferred qualification, but if not, is open to participate in such events if available)
  13. Has the ability to drive and possesses a valid driver’s license

Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm with occasional evening and weekend hours.

Prefer full-time (40 hours per week). 30 hours per week is negotiable.
